Faculty, researchers and students from the UGA SMART Lab represented the CVM at the European Association for Veterinary Pharmacology and Toxicology International Congress in Thessaloniki, Greece this summer. They delivered 11 oral presentations—the most of any institution at the conference.
Dr. Yana Zavros delivered the keynote address highlighting the importance of a One Medicine approach connecting veterinary and human health. Graduate student Hannah Nicholson received the Best Oral Presentation Award in the graduate student and resident category.
